Before agreeing to work
- Agree the items and materials to be removed, together with anything excluded.
- Confirm access, floor level, loading arrangements and any dismantling.
- Confirm the full payable price, including any applicable VAT and extra work.
- Agree a date or collection window and who will provide access.
- Ask for the waste-carrier registration and collection paperwork relevant to your job.
- Confirm payment arrangements and the cancellation or rescheduling information that applies to the booking.
Specialist and larger work
Strip outs, electrical and plumbing elements, demolition and unusual materials need a defined scope. Responsibilities for competent trades, utility isolation, surveys, permissions, notices and specialist handling must be agreed before work starts.
